Project
In Noteey, a project is the core unit for organizing and managing your ideas, tasks, and resources. Within each project, you can create multiple whiteboards, each focusing on different themes or tasks. Users can gather related information through cards, notes, and files, forming a comprehensive knowledge system. Additionally, projects can be shared with other users by sending local copies or publishing web pages.
Card
Cards are the basic units used in Noteey to organize and manage information. In a card, you can insert titles, lists, tasks, images, links, citations, code blocks, dividers, and more, helping you effectively record and express your thoughts.
You can easily drag and drop cards onto the whiteboard, freely adjust their positions, and connect them with each other to build your knowledge network. Throughout the process, cards can be edited and updated at any time and reused, making information management more efficient.
Library
The library is the central location in Noteey for storing and managing all information. Whether it’s cards, PDF files, documents, or multimedia content, all information added to a project is securely stored in the library for easy retrieval and use.
You can first add desired content to the library and then organize and add it to projects as needed. All content in the library can be easily dragged and dropped between different whiteboards, allowing for flexible reuse of information.
The library also supports tag management, enabling you to categorize content by theme or project, enhancing the efficiency of information retrieval.
Basic Operations:
- In the library, you can select any content and manage tags, add it to a project, or delete it.
- In a project, you can open the library sidebar (shortcut: Cmd+3/Ctrl+3) and drag the desired content directly onto the canvas.
Tags
Tags are tools in Noteey for organizing and managing information, helping you maintain clarity amidst large amounts of data. By adding tags to cards, whiteboards, or other resources, you can quickly identify and categorize related content. You can assign multiple tags to a single item or allow multiple items to share the same tag, establishing connections between different pieces of content.
Basic Operations:
- In the tags page, you can create new tags and manage existing ones, allowing you to view all projects and content under each tag.
- In the library, you can batch-add tags to content or quickly filter library content using tags.
Journal
The journal feature allows you to record and manage your thoughts and daily events. In the journal, you can add text, images, and links, making it easy to capture various pieces of information. All journal entries are organized by date, enabling easy review and searching. From your journal, you can reflect on your growth and changes, capturing the moments of your life.
